Embers of Dawn is an industrial metal band, formed in 2021, that is based out of Jacksonville, Florida. Blending elements of industrial, cyber, gothic, and melodic death metal, the band delivers a dark, futuristic sound defined by crushing rhythms, layered electronics, and haunting melodic textures.

Founded by guitarist and programmer Cliff Ross, Embers of Dawn has evolved into a heavy-hitting force featuring Austin Graves (vocals), Scott Van Horn (bass/programming) and Grover Norton (drums). 

Embers of Dawn has worked with internationally recognized metal musicians, including drummer Adrian Erlandsson (At the Gates, The Haunted, Cradle of Filth, Paradise Lost), who tracked drums for the majority of songs on the band’s upcoming full-length album. Earlier releases also featured contributions from drummer Mike Heller (ex-Fear Factory), helping shape the project’s powerful and polished sound.

Drawing influence from artists such as PAIN, Dark Tranquility, Ministry, Fear Factory, Rammstein, Static-X, Rob Zombie, Arch Enemy, and Type O Negative, Embers of Dawn has been described as a sonic anomaly—a fusion of mechanical precision, gothic atmosphere, and aggressive modern metal. With new material in development and a full-length album that will be released this summer, the band continues to push forward with a sound that is both cinematic and uncompromisingly heavy.
